A Guide to Great Low-Tech Virtual Programs

Clients want you for your expertise – not your tech savvy. (Well, unless you’re speaking on tech savvy…)

Have you been nervous about virtual programs because you don’t have high tech gear or flashy online presentation skills? No worries! You can still deliver a program that your clients will love.

In this session, we’ll be looking at how to provide great programs with the even most minimal, basic audio and video technology and skills.

Chances are, you already have all you need for a great virtual program and, if not, we’ll talk about low cost and low-tech ways to get you there.

Stop being afraid and start presenting!

From Simple to Sophisticated: Selecting the Right Gear for Your Studio

Please join me as I take you on a deep dive of my home-based Speaker’s Studio. Your content may be king, but your production values are equally critical in the virtual world. We’ll look at all the gear I use to handle both live and pre-recorded presentations. I’ll pull back the curtain and show you my cameras, mics, lighting, editing, green screen, monitors, switcher, teleprompter, pedals, and more. My goal is to save you time, money, and misery as you build out your personalized production space. Whether you opt for super simple or crazy complicated, you’ll come away ready to leverage technology to grow your virtual business.

Using your Slides as a Background

You are a kickass dynamic professional speaker and your great “presence” on a virtual stage is confined to a small box at the top of the screen, while your audience stares at your slides.

Nathalie will teach how she uses her slides as a background so that she can still be engaging in the forefront of her screen while the slides are being projected behind/beside her, without any fancy equipment. She will also share with you how she created an invisible furniture setup for less than $25 that she uses when she presents in a standing position.
