I went to my first CAPS Convention before even joining as a member, and I was blown away. I’ve attended lots of conferences and seen countless speakers, but this was different. One after another, the speakers were engaging, inspiring, and world-class. Watching that caliber of presentations gave me a clearer vision of who I want to be as a speaker—and has already made me better.

What was equally powerful was the community. I was suddenly surrounded by people who spoke my language—people who were doing what I was doing, who had been there before, and who understood the unique challenges and triumphs of this work. As a solopreneur, it was incredibly meaningful to finally feel surrounded by true peers. It was welcoming, inspiring, and exactly what I needed. I can't wait for the next CAPS Conference!
