Goodly Logo

Goodly Foods takes what others see as imperfect produce and transforms it into delicious, healthy soups, stews, and sauces. By repurposing surplus produce, we're not just reducing food waste, but also crafting nutritious meals that everyone can enjoy.

But our mission goes beyond food. In partnership with HAVE Culinary Training Society, we create supportive employment opportunities. Where many see barriers, we see potential—providing food industry training and jobs that offer a living wage to those who might otherwise face employment challenges.

In January 2019, Goodly Foods began production and distribution of its first product, Hearty Tomato Vegetable Soup, thanks to a generous investment grant from the Walmart Foundation, and the support of our partners along the way. We’ve been proud to work closely with Commissary Connect and HAVE Culinary Training Society to help identify and help train our hard-working production team.

Since then, we’ve become a HACCP certified food processor, launched an extraordinary lineup of new soups, expanded our distribution across the country, and we’re working on more new recipes to be released soon. Most importantly, we’ve turned tons of produce into tasty foods, while creating accessible living-wage jobs in the process.

The Original Cakerie Logo

Making desserts this Original is no cakewalk. This brand is a success story from its original founding in 1979 by Doug McFetridge and Kent Norris. When they launched a small, unassuming bakery in the city of Victoria, British Columbia, little did they know the brand will flourish and be a leader in the industry like it is today. The Original Cakerie is known for its passion for creating truly superior desserts. With unparalleled quality and clean label as its hallmark, The Original Cakerie delivers scratch baking on a commercial scale. Here you can find fruit fillings made from scratch using fresh puree and sliced berries, and whipped cream using only the freshest dairy products. No mixes have ever been used in its over 45-year history, and they never will be.

Today, the company operates two state-of-the-art facilities, One in Vancouver, British Columbia Canada, and the other in London, Ontario, Canada. Here, innovation lives and premium desserts thrive. You can find Original Cakerie products in the retail channel or in fine restaurants throughout the globe.
